Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy is a process that involves destroying unwanted tissue by subjecting it to extreme cold in a controlled manner. This process is known as cryo-necrosis. When cells are exposed to temperatures as low as -80°F, ice crystals start forming, leading to tissue destruction. The ice crystals break the cell membrane, destroying cell organelles and protein matrixes. The surrounding area is then flooded with water, causing blistering and disrupting the local blood supply.
